When I received an Instax Mini for Christmas in 2011, I was told that this camera is most suitable for taking photos of parties: one can make lots of friends by snapping shots and then giving them to the drunk party-goers. As a result, my Instax was shunned to the corner of my cupboard. The film was too expensive, and the photos too exciting to just hand them out to people. Then, I started experimenting. The Instax travelled around, broke, was replaced and has found it's favourite theme.
Hiking.
Here is one packet of film that I used on my last hiking trip in Maloja, Switzerland. Unfortunately, this particular hike was cut short by a smarting blister (thankfully not my own), but we were out long enough to witness the village in which Heidi lived! Here's what my Instax observed:
